Hints: Let two numbers are x and y
sum of the two numbers = 15; so x + y = 15
and sum of their squares = 113; so x2 + y2 = 113
Now check option :
6 + 9 = 15 (correct)
62 + 92 = 117 ( not correct)
7 + 8 = 15 (correct)
72 + 82 = 113 (not correct)
Thus we get our answer 7 and 8
